HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR MOTORCYCLE?
Enjoying your dirt bike can be very pleasant. But just like a vehicle, buying it can be difficult if you don't know exactly what to look for. These are just some of the most important details: Where are you going to use it?This detail will define the type of motorcycle you will take: cross, enduro or trial. The dirt bikes are designed for a more competition-focused use, on uneven terrain full of mounds, potholes on usually muddy dirt surfaces. Be careful, you will not be able to register them for use on the road. Enduro bikes are not, in their appearance, excessively different from cross country bikes, but they are more designed for driving on public roads. They are heavier than cross country ones, and you can register them for use on the road and in cities. Lastly, the trial bikes do not have a seat, they are lighter and their tires tend to have lower pressure. They are intended for use on obstacles –in competition they must be overcome without touching the ground with the body– and on very uneven terrain. Choose a motorcycle with which you feel comfortable. The basic principle to use a motorcycle in the field, in which you will find very uneven terrain and unpredictable obstacles, is that you are the one who controls it at all times and not the other way around. Therefore, choose motorcycles with a weight appropriate to your constitution and size. Engine: Larger displacement bikes offer better response and higher speed, but they are not suitable for all users. Assess what your experience is and start with options with smaller engines that will allow you a better domain. If you can perfectly control a small motorcycle you can make the leap to large displacements without problems.

Don't forget to bring ...
The dirt bike, especially for beginners, can carry certain risks from falls and burns. Therefore, it is essential to have certain equipment that contributes to increasing safety and reducing the importance of falls if they occur.
Helmet, gloves, boots ... Traditional motorcycle safety equipment cannot be lacking either when practicing any off-road sport. Keep in mind, of course, that both the helmet and any other accessory must be specific to the practice you are going to do. If you are not sure what equipment to wear, let yourself be advised by specialists.
Safety bib. It will protect your trunk in case of impacts due to falls or blows from branches or stones. Some models also incorporate shoulder and elbow pads that offer additional protection.
Knee pads: Not only will they protect your joint in the event of a fall, but they will also help prevent injuries from bad movements. You can find two types: conventional and orthopedic knee braces, which include an additional support to the thigh, and prevent bad movements.
Collar: It is the accessory responsible for protecting your spine and neck in the event of a fall or impact. They are usually made of plastic or carbon fiber, and their anchoring depends on the manufacturer. It is essential especially if you are starting out on the field motorcycle.
Goggles: They are especially important if the helmet you use does not have a visor (something common in motocross and enduro). Not only will they improve your vision by protecting you from the air, but they will also prevent injury if mud or rocks hit you.
